I just about fucking died watching this! I have no idea what the guy is really saying (I’ve seen clips of him used from this piece in many things), but the mash up with the subtitles is just too perfect!
Seriously, though, while I am very disappointed in a lot of things Bungie is doing lately, I want to stick with the game because I want to see what happens. I want to follow the story and hope things do improve. I love the world and the characters, even if Bungo is making a mess of things.
But this, man … OMG … My sides still hurt! The accuracy! LOL!
being autistic and having to participate in society is like being an actor who cant get off stage and cant stop performing
very rarely do i hear about how exhausting it is to simply be autistic and to have to “behave” yourself. this goes for many other disabilities, developmental, personality, or another sort of mental divergence.
having to pretend to be a different person at all times in order for people to accept you is exhausting. its debilitating.
its humiliating.
because often you dont get to experience life as your genuine self, and youre constantly afraid of rejection.
slipping up can mean losing a job, losing friends, family, etc. you’re always on guard and always playing a role.
it feels like a performance even when no ones around. ive found myself embarrassed by stimming or participating in my special interest, even when im around no one except myself.
Let’s stop and take a second to reflect on the absolute hilarity that must have been the crucible before everyone got their Light back.
You can’t use guns, because death. Same with explosions, knives, grenades, etc.
So just imagine seeing a whole open field of guardians literally beating the shit out of eachother with their bare fists.
Imagine Control. A Titan standing on point B when a football field away a warlock comes sprinting around the corner, screaming, and football tackles him into the dirt.
Just please imagine the crucible before everyone got their Light back.
